With the anticipation of the Governor lifting the Indoor Mask Mandate on February 28, 2022, contingent on declining COVID related metrics, the Lindenhurst Park District will be implementing the following protocols:
- Masks will be encouraged but not required while inside all park district facilities and spaces for all participants, patrons, and staff.
- Participants and staff on district-sponsored trips will be required to wear masks while on buses and comply with any host venue mask requirements.
- Participants and staff in the districts Before and After School Program will follow local public-school guidance, which is mask optional while in the facility but required to wear masks while riding district transportation (required by the federal government through at least March 18).
- Masks will be encouraged but not required for participants and staff in the districts Engle Junction Preschool and Enrichment programs.
As always, if you or your child is experiencing any symptom of illness, we ask that you please remain home.
