Fillable Applications can be emailed to info@lindenhurstparks.org or dropped off at the Thomas J. Lippert Community Center, located at 2200 E. Grass Lake Rd. in Lindenhurst unless otherwise specified.  Applications must be complete to be considered.

Athletic Instructors

The Lindenhurst Park District is looking for Athletic Instructors.

Under the direction of the Athletic Program manager, the Athletic Instructor is responsible for providing instruction on select sports that may include basketball, volleyball, baseball, soccer, field hockey, kickball, pickleball, softball, and flag football.  Instructors will supervise, provide instruction, maintain control of the class, and promote sportsmanship at all times.  Knowledge of sports curricula is necessary to ensure programs run efficiently and effectively.  Hours of work will vary and will depend on community needs, registration numbers, and facility availability.  Hours will include nights and weekends.  The hourly rate scale is based on experience.  Must be willing to submit to a background check and complete CPR/First Aid training.

Before & After School Program Staff

The Lindenhurst Park District is looking for Before & After Staff (part-time) for our Before & After School program.

Under the direction of the Recreation, Program Manager, the Before & After Staff candidates must be knowledgeable in working and supervising children.  Hours will vary so candidates must have flexible schedules (Monday – Friday).  The hourly rate scale is based on experience.  Must be willing to submit to a background check and complete CPR/First Aid training.

Birthday/Rental Attendants

The Lindenhurst Park District is looking for Birthday/Rental Attendants.

Under the direction of the Guest Services Manager, the Birthday Party/Rental Attendant will assist customers with their party/rental including set up/clean up.  Hours will include nights and weekends.  The hourly rate scale is based on experience.  Must be willing to submit to a background check and complete CPR/First Aid training.

Building Attendants

The Lindenhurst Park District is looking for Building Attendants.

Under the direction of the Athletic Program manager, the Building Attendant is responsible for the operation of the Community Center when the registration/business office is closed.  The Building Attendant will open/close the facility, provide customer service, set up rooms for classes/programs/events, and complete light janitorial duties as necessary.  Hours will include nights and weekends.  The hourly rate scale is based on experience.  Must be willing to submit to a background check and complete CPR/First Aid training.

Camp Staff

Under the supervision of the Recreation Program Manager, the Camp Counselor (CC) is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing daily activities.  CCs are responsible for supervising children and providing a safe and enjoyable camp experience for the participants.  Hours will vary.  The hourly rate scale is based on experience.  Must be willing to submit to a background check and complete CPR/First Aid training.

Preschool Substitute

The Lindenhurst Park District is currently looking for substitutes (part-time) for Engle Junction Program.

Under the direction of the Recreation Program Manager, the candidates must be knowledgeable in working with children in a classroom setting.  Hours will vary so candidates must have flexible schedules (Monday-Friday morning and afternoon classes).  Hourly rate scale based on experience.  Must be willing to submit to a background check and complete CPR/First Aid training.

Soccer Refs

The Lindenhurst Park District is looking for referees for our K-8th Grade Youth Soccer League

Under the direction of the Athletic Program Manager, the referees must be available on Saturdays, and must be in high school and preferably certified by ussoccer.com.
