Athletic Instructors
Join The Fun and Get Paid To Play! The Lindenhurst Park District is looking for Athletic Instructors.
Under the direction of the Athletic Program manager, the Athletic Instructor is responsible for providing instruction on select sports that may include basketball, volleyball, baseball, soccer, field hockey, kickball, pickleball, softball, and flag football. Instructors will supervise, provide instruction, maintain control of the class, and always promote sportsmanship. Knowledge of sports curricula is necessary to ensure programs run efficiently and effectively. Work hours will vary and depend on community needs, registration numbers, and facility availability. Hours will include nights and weekends. The hourly rate of pay is based on experience. Must be willing to submit to a background check and complete CPR/First Aid training.

Dance Instructor
The Lindenhurst Park District is seeking an energetic, qualified Dance Instructor to teach youth dance classes in our new Dance Studio! Our current need is for classes scheduled on Saturdays, 9/14 – 12/14, from 10am-1pm. (No class 11/23). Classes include “Pitter Patter Feet” “Dance 1” “Princess Ballet” and “Jr. Hop Hop.” The new instructor will have input into class offerings and schedule for the Winter/Spring season and moving forward. Preschool Substitute
Join The Fun and Get Paid To Play! The Lindenhurst Park District is currently looking for substitutes (part-time) for Engle Junction Program.
Under the direction of the Recreation Program Manager, the candidates must be knowledgeable in working with children in a classroom setting. Hours will vary so candidates must have flexible schedules (Monday-Friday morning and afternoon classes). Hourly rate of pay is based on experience. Must be willing to submit to a background check and complete CPR/First Aid training.

Soccer Refs
Join The Fun and Get Paid To Play! The Lindenhurst Park District is looking for referees for our K-8th Grade Youth Soccer League.
Under the direction of the Athletic Program Manager, the referees must be available on Saturdays, must be in high school or older, and preferably certified by ussoccer.com.
