Athletic Instructors
Join The Fun and Get Paid To Play! The Lindenhurst Park District is looking for Athletic Instructors.
Under the direction of the Athletic Program manager, the Athletic Instructor is responsible for providing instruction on select sports that may include basketball, volleyball, baseball, soccer, field hockey, kickball, pickleball, softball, and flag football. Instructors will supervise, provide instruction, maintain control of the class, and always promote sportsmanship. Knowledge of sports curricula is necessary to ensure programs run efficiently and effectively. Work hours will vary and depend on community needs, registration numbers, and facility availability. Hours will include nights and weekends. The hourly rate of pay is based on experience. Must be willing to submit to a background check and complete CPR/First Aid training.

Before & After School Program Site Director
Get Ready to Play!
The Lindenhurst Park District Before and After School Program at Caboose Park is looking for an energetic and creative Before & After School Site Director to lead our awesome crew of kids! Under the guidance of our Recreation Program Manager, you’ll be the captain of our ship, ensuring a safe and exciting environment for our young adventurers.
Here’s what you’ll get to do:
- Plan and lead engaging activities: From thrilling games and arts & crafts to outdoor adventures and educational fun, every day will be a new, exciting challenge!
- Build strong relationships: Work closely with other staff to create amazing fun activities and share the best ideas.
- Supervise and support an amazing team: Guide our awesome staff to ensure a positive and rewarding experience for everyone.
The Schedule:
- Mornings: 6:15 AM – 8:15 AM (Get those little ones ready for school!)
- Afternoons: 2:30 PM – 5:45 PM (Let the fun begin!)
- Early Dismissal Fridays: 1:15 PM (Be prepared for an extra dose of playtime!)
- Plus, occasional extra hours for non-school days (Extra fun times!)

Guest Services Coordinator
The Lindenhurst Park District is excited to announce an opening for the position of Guest Services Coordinator! Do you have a passion for providing customer service, resolving customer issues or concerns, and ensuring a positive guest experience? If this sounds like you, we want to hear!
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing customer service as it relates to all registration functions, rentals, facility scheduling, customer inquiries, and general district information. This role is ideal for a customer-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service to all district patrons
• Answers all telephone calls, directing callers to the appropriate staff person
• Assist with managing the district’s registration process
• Copying, distribution of information or materials, and scheduling facilities as needed
• Cash handling, credit card processing, and reconciliation of income
Key Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
• Preference is given to those with experience in customer service management and working with the public.
• Valid Illinois or Wisconsin Driver’s License.
• CPR/AED certification within 6 months of hire; provided by the park district.

Under the direction of the Recreation Program Manager, the candidates must be knowledgeable in working with children in a classroom setting. Hours will vary so candidates must have flexible schedules (Monday-Friday morning and afternoon classes). Hourly rate of pay is based on experience. Must be willing to submit to a background check and complete CPR/First Aid training.
