Lindenhurst Park District has a variety of outdoor shelters with scenic parks and natural settings for your next special event. All shelters include picnic tables, shared restrooms, and ample parking. Alcohol is not permitted on Park District property. All shelters are available daily for a maximum of five hours beginning April 1 through October 31 from 9am Sunset. The Spray’n Play rentals are available from June 4 through August 28. Reservations begin Monday, March 1, 2021. All reservations are first come first served.
Reservations must be placed in person and will require a $100 security deposit in addition to the rental fees. All fees associated with the rental must be paid in full at the time of booking. Lindenhurst Park District reserves the right to reassign space without notice. District programs have priority in scheduling. Fees are subject to change.

Features include: Our Splash Pad Spray Park is filled with multiple fountains, rotating turtle and frog sprayers, manual-spin sprinkler, overhead water-dumping beehives, a spray ring, and mushrooms with cascading water showers. Our Splash Pad Spray Park area includes full restrooms, picnic tables, and a pavilion where parents have a full view of the entire spray park. Take a walk down the pathway that winds quietly away from the spray park and you’ll find the sand play and picnic area. The sand play area doubles as an archaeological dig site, complete with dinosaur bones, for kids to explore! The area near the dig site is completely shaded with picnic tables and a bench. This very serene picnic area with a grassy ground cover is a great place to extend your celebration! Oak Ridge Park is also equipped with soccer and activity fields as well as paved trails connected to Lake County Forest Preserve for walking, jogging, and cycling. The park boasts a beginner-friendly 9-hole disc golf course that is arranged throughout a lightly wooded natural setting. Grilling is not permitted.
