May 21, 2025

Due to the ongoing Lake Shore Drive/Sprucewood Lane/Hawthorne Drive Road Construction Project that affects the Lindenhurst Park District’s Linden’s Landing property at 2100 Sprucewood Lane, the park property will be closed until further notice.  This includes the volleyball court, beach, swim area, and shelter.  Meyer’s Beach, located at 325 High Point Drive on Lake Linden, will remain open this season.  For more information regarding this project and closings, please visit https://www.lindenhurstil.org/village_services/administration/current_projects/lakeshoredrive.php.

May 1, 2025

Exciting changes are on the horizon for Lewis Park! Thanks to the OSLAD Grant, the park will soon feature a brand-new playground with a safe surface, inviting children of all ages to play and explore. In addition, enhancements to the basketball and tennis/pickleball courts will invigorate community engagement in sports and recreational activities. The park’s aesthetics will also receive a boost with refreshed landscaping and expanded green spaces, offering a serene retreat for residents to enjoy nature. Accessibility is a priority, as the project will incorporate ADA-compliant features, ensuring everyone can enjoy the new amenities. Lastly, upgraded picnic areas and community gathering spaces. Check Presentation – Raymond Chevrolet Kia of Antioch

March 10, 2025

The Lindenhurst Park District and the Lindenhurst Lake Villa Community Partners, which include the Lindenhurst Park District, Village of Lindenhurst, IL, Village of Lake Villa, Lake Villa Township, and Lake Villa District Library, had the pleasure of visiting the impressive new Raymond Chevrolet Kia dealership in Antioch. This state-of-the-art facility not only dazzled us with its modern design and impressive features, but we were also warmly welcomed with delicious donuts and warm coffee.
The highlight of our visit was when Raymond Chevrolet Kia of Antioch, our generous Title Sponsor for the Lindenhurst Park District and Live Music in the Parks, presented us with two substantial sponsorship checks. This generous gesture of support left us genuinely grateful and excited about the opportunities ahead.  We can’t express enough gratitude to Mark Scarpelli and his remarkable team. The Scarpelli family embodies the true spirit of community involvement, consistently demonstrating an unwavering commitment to giving back. Mark’s enthusiasm and willingness to support our new event ideas make him an invaluable partner. His dedication to our community is inspiring, and we sincerely appreciate his leadership.
Remember to support those who uplift your community! Stop by their stunning new dealership the next time you’re in Antioch. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but your visit is a chance to support a local business that genuinely cares. Shop local and be a part of the positive impact!
