The “2018” Roland Wetzel Lindenhurst Youth Soccer League Scholarships” were recently presented to qualified recipients, who played, volunteered an/or worked in the Lindenhurst Park District In-House Youth soccer Program (LYSL), in the amounts of (4) $250.00 scholarships.
The scholarship is based on criteria related to the Lindenhurst Park District In-House Youth Soccer Program and scholarship funds will be earmarked for the recipient’s college education.
“Roland Wetzel Lindenhurst Youth Soccer League Scholarship Program” was initiated by the former LYSL Executive Board in 1991 as a way to honor Ron Wetzel for his dedication to our soccer program.
