Covid-19/Phase 4 Updates!
Phase 4 Updates
On Wednesday, February 3, 2021, IDPH announced that Region 9 (Lake and Mchenry counties) would move to Phase 4 Guidance beginning Wednesday, February 3, 2021. IDPH will continue to track the positivity rates and hospital capacity metrics in regions over 14-day monitoring periods to determine if mitigations can be relaxed if additional mitigations are required, or if current mitigations should remain in place. If a region again experiences a sustained resurgence of COVID-19 with mitigations in place, a return to stricter measures may be necessary to curtail the further spread.
What does this mean for the Lindenhurst Park District facilities and programs? Beginning Wednesday, February 3, 2021, the following changes will be effective:
Face masks will be required at ALL times while in the building.
Face masks will NOT be required during adult programs that maintain a six-foot distance from ALL other participants at ALL times.
Indoor recreation can operate up to 50 customers or 50% of facility capacity.
Before & After E-Learning will continue as usual.
Preschool-in-Person classes will continue as usual.
Rentals will resume w/new requirements.
The Dance Program will continue as usual.
Youth Sports classes will continue as usual.
Youth Programming will continue as usual.
