Lindenhurst Park District Commissioners Todd Solbrig and James Stout Honored for 25 Years of Service.
The Lindenhurst Park District is proud to congratulate Board of Park Commissioners Todd Solbrig and James Stout, who were recently honored by the Illinois Association of Park Districts (IAPD) at “The Best of The Best Awards Gala” on October 9, 2026, for their impressive 25 years of service.
For 25 years, Todd and James have generously given their time, shared their leadership, and shown their dedication to the Lindenhurst Park District and the community we serve. But their commitment goes far beyond the boardroom!
Both are familiar faces at many of our special events, always willing to roll up their sleeves and lend a helping hand. Our Haunted Trail & Bonfire is especially close to their hearts, and they go above and beyond to help make the event a success. You’ll also often find them enjoying the music at our Live Music in the Parks concerts. Whether volunteering behind the scenes or joining in the fun, James and Todd are always showing their support for our Park District events throughout the year.
We are fortunate to have commissioners who not only believe in the importance of parks and recreation but also actively help make our community a wonderful place to live, play, and grow.
On behalf of the Lindenhurst Park District staff and the community we serve, we congratulate and thank Todd and James for 25 years of leadership, volunteerism, and dedication to Creating Community Through People, Parks, and Programs!
