2012/13 Preschool Registration Packets Due
Wednesday 5:00 PM
Registration packets for 2012/13 Engle Junction Preschool are due no later than February 1, 2012 to be eligible for the registration lottery. There will be a non-refundable $35 registration fee payable by check or credit card due at this time. The Park District will conduct three lotteries: one for returning preschool children and families, one for residents of the Park District, and one for non-residents of the Park District. Class rosters will be posted on February 10, 2012. A one-month tuition deposit must be paid by March 5, 2012 to secure your space if you were placed on a class roster. September tuition will be due by the first day of class.
Please note: your registration fee will only be applied if your child is placed on a roster. In the event that your child was not added to a roster your will automatically be added to a waiting list (in random order) and notified if a space becomes available.
Preschool for the 2012/2013 school year will begin on Tuesday, September 4th and Wednesday, September 5th. All children will need to submit a birth certificate and medical form signed by his or her physician and be able to use the restroom independently by the first day of class.
Daddy Daughter Dance- FULL
Saturday 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM
The Daddy Daughter Princess Ball will take place on Saturday, February 4, from 5:00-7:30pm at BJ Hooper School. This event is a lot of fun, and a great time for Dads to spend some quality time with their little girl.

2012/13 Engle Junction Preschool class lists will be posted on February 10th. Please check the preschool display case in the Community Center or contact Julie Rushmeyer, Recreation Supervisor, at 847.356.6011 ext. 108 to determine your child's preschool placement.
Valentine Bakers and Candy Makers
Saturday 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Chocolate, sugar, and confections. This class is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. Each parent/child pair will make molded candies, chocolate covered pretzels & marshmallows, and other tasty sweets. One pound of chocolate will be melted per couple. Boxes to transport your sweet creations home will be provided. Recipes may include common food allergens. Ages: 3-12 years with parent. Preregistration required: $20-R, $25-NR, $12-Sibling Fee.
