2025 Season Information
The Lindenhurst Park District is home to 19 parks developed to provide a variety of amenities including shelters and athletic fields available for seasonal rental. Fees help keep the shelters and fields clean and in working order at these picturesque parks.
All groups of 15 or more must obtain a Rental or Special Use Permit prior to their visit. Special Use Permits require approval from the Board of Park Commissioners.
All shelters include picnic tables, shared restrooms, and ample parking. Grilling is permitted; however, grills are not provided. Renters may bring a portable electric or propane grill if it is 24 inches off the ground. Charcoal grills are prohibited.
Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and may be made in person or by phone. A valid credit card must be provided to keep on file for the required $100 deposit. All rental fees must be paid in full at least two weeks prior to the reservation date. Ask about our pricing for school districts, community groups, and commercial businesses.

Court, Field and Turf Rentals
Throughout Lindenhurst, you will find tennis courts, basketball courts, pickleball courts, sand volleyball courts, full and youth-sized soccer fields, baseball and softball fields, and open turf. Open turf is versatile and perfect for all types of outdoor recreation.
A Special Use Permit is required for any event held in Lindenhurst Park District parks beyond standard public use of a rental. Designed for any group size of 15 or more who wish to gather in the park but do not want to rent a shelter. Types of events include charity, running/walking, cross-country runs, filming, for-profit, school groups, church services, etc. Use of district property for day camps, instructional classes, or organized groups not sponsored by the Park District. Anticipated attendance of more than 200 or certain specified activities will require Director and Board approval.
Ball Field – Hourly Rate: $40R/$50NR

Linden's Landing Park Shelter
Linden’s Landing Park Shelter – 2100 Sprucewood Lane; located on the shores of Lake Linden.
Accommodates groups of up to 50
Features include: A shower tower, shared beach, sand volleyball, and boat launch. Catch and release fishing is permitted.

Features include: Shared use of the Splash Pad Spray Park, Archaeological Sand Dig Site, and 9-hole Disc Golf Course. Grilling is not permitted.

Parkman Pavilion
Parkman Pavilion – 2200 E. Grass Lake Road

The Parkman Pavilion is a beautiful outdoor venue for ceremonies, parties or performances.
Features include: 20’x 30′ covered stage, electricity, sound (additional cost), built-in lawn stadium seating, canopy, and six picnic tables.
