The Lindenhurst Park District this past year determined to recognize on a larger scale, those individuals, organizations, and governmental bodies that have continuously contributed their time and resources for the Lindenhurst Park District and particularly our community. Once this was determined, the Lindenhurst Park District submitted a Community Services Individual/Group, to the Statewide Organization of the Illinois Association of Park Districts and Illinois Park and Recreation Association.
