Forest View Park-513 Forest View Drive
Don’t miss the biggest Special Event of the year! This one-day event is organized by the Lindenhurst Park District with help from local businesses, schools and volunteers.
Come out with your family and friends and enjoy a fall festival like no other. There’s something for everyone! Start off with a wagon ride through McDonald Woods, then stroll over to the Costume Contest at the Cornstalk Stage. After the Costume Contest enjoy the amazing FREE performers, from spooky Halloween tales to mystifying magicians-hopefully they won't make you disappear! If your still searching for that perfect pumpkin-check out the Millburn Tree Farm-they always bring a great selection. Bring your appetite, the Witches’ Kitchen will be grilling up some yummy treats, and make sure you save room for a giant Halloween sugar cookie-they're always a hit! The little ones will enjoy our inflatable Pumpkin Moonwalk, Animal Kingdom Activity House, Kids Game Tent, Face Painter, and the Happy Ghosts Straw Maze, while the brave ones can walk through the trail if they dare. What lurks among the trees? There will be 10 mortifying scenes with unnatural creatures awaiting to eagerly quench their undying thirst for your screams! At dusk the Lake Villa Fire Department will start the bonfire and we will serve FREE apple cider heated in a cauldron.
