The Haven (Skateboard/BMX Area)
Rules & Regulations
-Caution-Skateboarding, in-line skating, bike riding/racing are high-risk recreational activities with inherent risks of serious injury.
-Skateboard/in-line skate and bike areas are unsupervised and participants ride at their own risk.
-It is strongly recommended that personal protective equipment such as helmets, elbow pads, kneepads, etc., be used during activities.
-No scooters or motorized vehicles are allowed.
-No glass objects/containers, tobacco products, drugs, foul language, music, alcohol, gum, pets, firearms/fireworks are allowed.
-Facility hours are sunrise to sunset.
-Protect your “The Haven”-vandalism or excessive littering will result in the closing of the park.

The Skateboard/BMX components design, as well as the name (The Haven), was created by our local youth. They also assisted the Lindenhurst Park District in obtaining a State of Illinois Matching Grant through The Department of Natural Resources.
