Bohemian National Cemetery, established by member of Chicago’s Czech community in 1877, is on the National Register of Historic Places, and features historic buildings, magnificent mausoleums, and monuments, statuary by renowned artists, and an astonishing variety of gravestone artistry. The “Tour of the Tombstones” is an approximately two hour, 1 ˝ mile walking tour led by professional guide, and features a limestone gatehouse, war memorials, and even a columbarium specially dedicated to Chicago Cubs fans complete with ivy, bricks, and seats from Wrigley Field. After the tour, enjoy the “Award Winning All You Can Eat European Fusion” buffet of traditional and contemporary Polish and international food at Red Apple Restaurant.

Trip includes transportation by Park District bus, walking tour, and lunch. Extensive walking and standing.
