Kessel's Basketball Training Camp

This program concentrates on the breakdown of the shooting technique. Coach Kessel has proven highly succesful in analyzing and dramatically improving a players shooting ability. Coach Kessel doesn't just do drills. He will break down and reinforce the proper techniques for shooting accuracy. You will also learn the proper jump shot. In addition, you will learn how to beat your man off the dribble.

Little Dunkers

Jump! Pass! Shoot! Score! Boys and girls can gear up and learn the basics of basketball in this fundamentals program. In this class simple fundamental skills will be taught. Each participant will learn the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting. Teamwork, good sportsmanship, and fun will also be stressed.

Girls 3rd-8th Grade Basketball League

This basketball league offers opportunities for all skill levels. Our program will teach teamwork, fair play, rules of the game, as well as shooting, passing and dribbling. All games will be played at the Lindenhurst Park District Community Center Gymnasium. Player evaluations will take place on October 11th at the following times: 3rd and 4th grade at 9:00am, 5th and 6th grade at 10:00am, 7th and 8th grade at 11:00am at Millburn West School. All players must be registered prior to evaluations. Any questions parents may have will be answered at these evaluations. Games will be played on Saturdays. Game times will vary, with a possible one practice during the week either on Monday or Wednesday, depending on availability. Gym shoes, white socks and black shorts must be worn. Each participant will receive a t-shirt. VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED, league will not be possible without volunteers. High School Boys Basketball League

Not playing on the high school team? Come play with us! Pre-registration is required prior to the mandatory player evaluation/orientation that will take place at the Lindenhurst Park District Community Center Gym on Thursday, November 6th at 7:00pm. Shirts (given), gym shoes, white socks, and shorts (on the waist) must be worn. VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED! Co-Rec Basketball 1st-2nd Grade

This league is designed to be enjoyable for all skill levels. The skills learned will be reinforced through scrimmages. Each participant will practice for 20 minutes and then play 2-15 minute half scrimmages. Each participant will receive a t-shirt. Volunteers needed to assist in scrimmages.
