Pilates
This class will introduce you to an exercise program that restores muscular balance, builds strength and flexibility, increases coordination and emphasizes and improves body alignment and posture. The movements use the abdomen, lower back and buttocks as a power center, enabling the rest of the body to move freely through each fundamental movement. The method also helps strengthen the mind with awareness and breath coordination. A thick mat is required and must be provided by the participant. Comfortable clothing, such as tights, sweats, or shorts is also recommended.
