McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum celebrates the history of the Chicago River and its world-famous movable bridges. Beginning at river level and spiraling five stories up, the McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore a historic landmark bridgehouse. Once at the top of the Bridgehouse, visitors are treated to magnificent 360 degree views of the city and river, and will gain a whole new perspective on the beauty and complexity that is Chicago. We will walk along the river walkway to board on the legendary Chicago Architecture Foundation Center River Cruise. You'll find out how Chicago grew from a small settlement into one of the world’s largest cities in less than 100 years. In 90 minutes, get the real story on Chicago architecture and its history. We will enjoy a late lunch at Manny’s Cafeteria & Delicatessen. Lunch options will be ˝ sandwich, a bowl of soup, potato pancake and a fountain drink. Please indicate your choice of sandwich at the time of registration, sandwich options are: corned beef, pastrami, roast beef, turkey pastrami, turkey breast, beef brisket, lox, chicken salad, salami, ham, veggie, or tuna salad.

Trip includes transportation by motor coach bus, museum fees, tour, and lunch. Extensive walking and stairs.
