Valentine Bakers & Candy Makers

Chocolate, sugar, and confections. This class is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. Each parent/child pair will make molded candies, chocolate covered pretzels & marshmallows, and other tasty sweets. One pound of chocolate will be melted per couple. Boxes to transport your sweet creations home will be provided. Recipes may include common food allergens.

Private Tea Tasting

Welcome to Tea Paradise! Sign up with your friends for this wonderful private tea tasting at My Tea Paradise in Trevor, WI. The owners will be opening up the shop for this private event. Join us in a fun filled event where we will introduce you to the delights of tea and their many, many health benefits. You will be sampling a large variety of teas while learning some fascinating facts about the 2nd most consumed beverage in the U.S. We will be providing a raffle at the end of the night and sending someone home with a fun prize!

Timber Ridge Waterpark

A day off school, and nothing to do? Why not sign-up with your friends for this great trip to Timber Ridge Waterpark? Participants will get dropped off at the Park District in the morning, and the staff will take care of everything from there. We will head to Lake Geneva where we will have full use of the 50,000 square foot indoor waterpark. All participants should bring some extra money for lunch or a snack at the concession stand. Adult Knitter Circle

Are you a person who loves to knit, and is looking for others with the same interests? If so, then the Lindenhurst Park District’s brand new adult knitter’s circle is for you. Circle members are encouraged to bring in their latest projects, and “show-off” what they are working on. Free patterns will also be made available to all those who attend. For this first session we will share the dead fish hat pattern. Knitters are encouraged to bring their scrap yarn, and share with others in the circle to complete this great hat. Sign up for a great time! Free coffee and light refreshments will be provided.

Family Eggstravaganza

Anyone can drop some eggs in colored dye, but why not take it up a notch? This parent and child class will have you rethinking all those years of boring ol’ dyed eggs, and the best part…the whole mess will be at the Community Center. Each child will receive 2 dozen hardboiled eggs to decorate. The room will be set-up with several egg dying stations. We’ll do melted crayon eggs, tie-dye eggs, rock-a-bye birdies, rubber band eggs and many more. Sign-up today, leave the mess here, take the fun home.
